KNES 2290 - Emergency Medical Response The knowledge and skills necessary to work as an emergency medical responder (EMR) to help sustain life, reduce pain and minimize the consequences of injury or sudden illness until more advanced medical care arrives and takes over. Qualifying students may receive certifications in: Emergency Medical Response, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider, Preventing Disease Transmission (Bloodborne Pathogens Training). There is a $20 course fee.
