PHYS 3121 - Classical Mechanics I Topics include: Newtonian mechanics, kinetic energy, work and potential energy, harmonic oscillators, projectiles and charged particles without and with viscous friction, linear and angular momentum, vector algebra and coordinate transformations, Taylor expansions, mathematical analysis using complex numbers, Fourier series analysis of vibrational motions.
