WGST 4130 - Female Adolescence in America Explores the modern cultural, social and personal experience of young females in America. The central focus of the course will be the social construction of femininity and how it impacts female adolescents. We will examine the influence of race/ethnicity, class, and sexuality upon the lives of female adolescents.
