DANC 3221 - Dance History, Theory, and Critical Thinking Exploration of dance as a means of developing personal and shared identities. Focuses on critical reading, research, and writing; and on examining dance through sociocultural, historical, and political lenses. Among the traditions and contemporary innovations examined are dance forms of the African diaspora and western concert dance.
