ECGR 3122 - Electromagnetic Waves


A study of Maxwell’s equations, transmission line theory, plane waves in media, propagation of electromagnetic waves in various media. The phenomena of reflection and refraction at interfaces of two dissimilar materials. Guided electromagnetic waves in coaxial cables and waveguides.
