CHFD 6230 - Emerging Literacy and Mathematical Understanding
Examines the development of language, literacy, and mathematical thinking in young children who are culturally, linguistically, and ability diverse. Research, current educational practice, and instructional materials and strategies are analyzed. Emphasis is on the design and assessment of integrated listening, speaking, reading, writing, and mathematical activities.
