AFRS 2208 - Education and African Americans Examination of the problems and challenges of educating African Americans. Topics include: conceptual approaches to education; historical and contemporary overview of education for African Americans; the impact of race and discrimination; analysis of existing curricula; and suggested models for a multi-racial and multi-cultural education.
