MAED 3222 - Teaching Mathematics to Elementary School Learners, Grades K-2 This course is designed to help students develop knowledge and understanding of school mathematics and methods for teaching mathematics to children in grades K through 2. The course focuses on the importance of learning through manipulative and concrete experiences, and on planning lessons in which students develop their ideas through action and discussion.
