MEGR 3171 - Introduction to Measurements and Instrumentation Statistical analysis of experimental data, curve fitting. Operational amplifiers and signal conditioning techniques for remote monitoring. Discussion of the principles involved in the use of sensors and transducers in measurements of linear and angular displacement, velocity and acceleration, temperature, force, pressure, torque and flow. Introduction to dynamic measurements and frequency analysis.
