SPAN 3019 - Hispanic Women Writers in English Translation


Examination of prose and poetry by women writers from Spain and the Americas to understand women’s voices and other cultures. Conducted in English; knowledge of Spanish not required.  Not applicable toward Spanish major or minor; however, it may count as an elective course for the B.A. in Spanish with Concentration in Hispanic Studies.

Restriction(s): Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing.
Prerequisite(s): WRDS 1103  or WRDS 1104  with a grade of C or above; or permission of instructor.
