MDSK 6162L - Instructional Design Lab Focuses on providing teacher education candidates exposure to the modeling of evidence-validated practices, the rehearsal of instructional tasks, and numerous opportunities for feedback on pedagogical decision-making. This lab, taken in conjunction with an introductory course on lesson plan design, affords novice educators opportunities to practice and rehearse focus practices and receive feedback and coaching from an expert instructor. Engaging in a cycle of practice-based teacher education, candidates receive modeling and are exposed to other representations of practice.
