PPOL 8101 - Public Policy Studio I: Data Management and Basic Analytics


Hands-on data management and analysis skills through project-based learning.  Students learn to formulate a data management plan and undertake the steps necessary to ensure that data is properly processed and analyzed.  Students also learn how to interpret data and develop policy recommendations.  This course prepares students for regression analysis so they clearly understand all steps that must be taken before running a regression, including proper conceptualization and operationalization of variables.
