GEOL 4115 - Applied Geophysics Instrumental analysis of Earth’s geophysical parameters. Study of human-induced seismic and electrical signals, and natural magnetic and gravitational fields for the purposes of locating faults, ore bodies, ground water, and geotechnical or archaeological targets. Three hours of lecture and one three-hour lab per week.
