HIST 3174 - Resistance and Adaptation: Indian Peoples Under Spanish Rule


An historical examination of the interactions of indigenous peoples of the western hemisphere with Spanish colonial authorities from the conquest era to 1825.  Focuses on the indigenous peoples of Mexico, Peru, Chile, and Argentina.  Meets non-Western requirement.
