SPED 5375 - Foundations of Literacy for Students with Diverse Learning Needs

Provides effective beginning prevention and intervention strategies for addressing the literacy needs of students with disabilities and diverse learning needs. Also includes assessment and application of instructional strategies. Supports teachers seeking licensure in Special Education: General Curriculum (NCDPI). A directed field experience is a required component (approximately 12 hours).

Prerequisite(s): SPED 5173 , SPED 5300 , and SPED 5370
