GEOG 1103 - Spatial Thinking


An overview of spatial thinking fundamentals and how geospatial technology can be used to illustrate these notions. Spatial thinking combines: (1) concepts of space, (2) tools of representation, and (3) processes of reasoning, to better structure spatially explicit phenomena, and generate hypothesis to understand and explain those issues. Emphasizes various aspects of spatial thinking as a way of addressing spatially explicit phenomena applied to an array of disciplines.
