DANC 1108 - Yoga Introduction and practice of yoga, especially as it relates to dance training. Students condition the body and mind through the physical and intellectual practice of yoga. Course content includes learning and executing corporeal postures, breath work, and mental focusing exercises. By the end of this course, students will have built upon their individual measures of strength, flexibility, and balance, as well as gained mental clarifying and stress-relieving techniques.
Credit Hours: (2) Repeatability: May be repeated for credit.
