Multicultural perspectives are crucial to effective and ethical practice in the counseling profession. In this course, students develop the knowledge, skills, and awareness for multicultural and advocacy competence to help them be more effective in assisting diverse clients and supporting communities (especially at-risk and vulnerable populations).
