EMGT 5963 - Energy Systems Planning

Optimal planning of resources, logistics, distribution and storage in the end to end energy value chain from upstream natural gas production through mid-stream transportation and storage to downstream power generation, utility distribution and consumption. Regression, neural networks and other AI techniques for load forecasting, and optimizing generation, transmission, and distribution planning to meet the forecasted loads. Power systems reliability and control, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, process and service quality control.
