ARTZ 3344 - Sculpture 4: From Studio to Public Space
Credit Hours: (3)
Explores art in public spaces with emphasis on work, which inspires critical dialogue and non-traditional public venues for art, including work integrated into the city infrastructure as well as temporary artistic intervention in the urban environment. Stresses the site-specific character of the work. Introduces media, technologies, and requirements of work in public settings.
Prerequisite(s): Art major; grade of C or above in ARTZ 3104 , ARTZ 3243 ; and ARTA 3201 , 3202, or 3203.
Hours of Lecture and/or Lab per week: Six contact hours.
