CJUS 3100 - Criminal Justice Theory


Credit Hours: (3)

Required course for majors and minors. An overview of the dominant theoretical explanations for crime and deviance. Special attention is given to the empirical research on these theories and their corresponding policy/program recommendations for reducing crime and delinquency in society.

Prerequisite(s): CJUS 1100 ; Criminal Justice major or minor; and Junior standing.
