RESP 3101 - Professional Roles and Dimensions of Respiratory Therapy


Credit Hours: (3)

An introduction to the history, trends, issues, and evolution of the respiratory therapy profession. Topics include: an overview of selected respiratory theories and an analysis of the professional environment for the current and future practice of respiratory care. Topics and emphasis may vary. Students develop a personal professional portfolio as part of the course.

Prerequisite(s): Admittance into RT program.
