The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers a Minor in Electrical Engineering for non-majors.

Prerequisite Courses
The Minor in Electrical Engineering assumes that students have a background in mathematics and physics equivalent to that covered in the first two years of the ECGR curriculum, which includes the following courses:
Minor Requirements
A Minor in Electrical Engineering consists of 18 credit hours and requires the following:
Required Courses (9 credit hours)
Elective Courses (6 credit hours)
Select at least one of the following. If both courses are taken, one of the courses may count toward the restricted elective course requirement.
Restricted Elective Course (3 credit hours)
Select one from the following if only one Elective Course was taken above. All prerequisites for such elective courses must be satisfied.
Grade Requirements
Students must achieve a minimum GPA of 2.0 in all of these courses, and this minor is not available for a student who has a major in either Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
