To obtain a degree with Honors in physics, a student must maintain at least a 3.0 average in all physics courses, complete PHYS 3900 , and successfully present the results of their project to a panel of faculty members.  The honors notation will appear on a student’s official transcript.  Details are available on the Department of Physics and Optical Science website.
