ARTE 3123 - Critical and Creative Thinking in Art Education


Credit Hours: (3)

Design, model, and assess critical and creative learning experiences. Incorporation of learnercentered approaches and development of dynamic environments of thinking through investigations of cognitive, dispositional, and social-emotional aspects of learning in the arts. Critical, creative, and practical thinking skills and dispositions and best-practice research. A practicum at an assigned school is required. Five contact hours.

Restriction(s): Art Education major concentration and admission to student teaching.
Prerequisite(s): ARTE 3121  with grade of C or above.
Pre- or Corequisite(s): ARTE 4122  with grade of C or above.
