A survey of Ancient Rome from the Etruscans to the end of the Western Roman Empire in 476 A.D.  Topics may include: Etruscan Italy, the Punic Wars, Republican rule, creation of the Empire, the Pax Romana, crisis of the third century, and the fall of Rome.
