GEOL 5165 - Aqueous and Environmental Geochemistry Water-rock interaction and processes controlling the chemical composition of natural waters (streams, lakes, and groundwater). Topics include: the carbonate system, mineral precipitation/dissolution, redox reactions, and metal speciation.
Credit Hours: (3) Prerequisite(s): CHEM 1251, CHEM 1252, and GEOL 1200, or equivalent; or permission of instructor.
