GEOL 5140 - Coastal Geology Examination of coastal environments, sediments, and wave-related processes in the present and geologic past. Topics include: barrier-island and salt-marsh development, sea-level fluctuations, and the relationship between human development and natural hazards. Three hours seminar per week and one mandatory two-day field trip.
