HPSY 8243 - Diversity in Health Psychology This course covers the central ideas and theories related to the role of culture, gender, and socioeconomic status in influencing behavior, cognitions, and emotions as they relate to physical and mental health outcomes. The materials reviewed examine the importance of considering the role of these factors in research, prevention intervention efforts, treatment, and the delivery of health services.
