INES 8201 - Environmental and Ecological Economics Students will explore the ways in which ecosystem services are measured, valued, and monetized by the society. The course is divided into three lecture modules: (a) environmental economics, (b) risk analysis and management, and (c) ecosystem services and valuation. It is appropriate for advanced graduate students with background in engineering, environmental sciences, business, and public policy.
