CHFD 6200 - Curriculum and Learning Environments for Young Children Examines theoretical and research foundations for designing, implementing, adapting, and evaluating curriculum that is responsive to the needs of young children who are culturally, linguistically, and ability diverse. Observational strategies are used to assess both the child (individual, sociocultural, and developmental characteristics) and the environment in order to identify best practices.
