GEOG 6212 - Urban Labor Markets


Explores the changing social and spatial structure of urban labor markets in post-industrialized cities.  Special reference to immigrant and minority labor markets in the U.S. Topics include:  discrimination, industry and occupation concentrations, job queues, ethnic networks, ethnic entrepreneurs, technological change and economic restructuring.
