PPOL 8602 - Research Design in Public Policy This is a Core Course in the Ph.D. in Public Policy program. Introduces students to various quantitative and qualitative approaches to doing policy research. Considers such major issues in philosophy of science as causality, measurement, and post-positive approaches to research. Students may use the course to prepare their dissertation proposals or research grant and contract proposals.
