BINF 8111 - Bioinformatics Programming I Introduction to computational thinking and problem-solving using a high-level programming language in a Bioinformatics context. It will teach concepts such as variables, data types, control structures, functions, and file input and /output. This course is designed to teach programming fundamentals to Bioinformatics students without a computational background.
Credit Hours: (3) Restriction(s): Admission to graduate standing in Bioinformatics or permission of instructor. Pre- or Corequisite(s): BINF 6115 Cross-listed Course(s): BINF 6111
