ARTE 5121L - Methods for Teaching Elementary Art
Planning and organization of tools, media, and materials appropriate for the Elementary level; curriculum design in planning art Learning Segments and lessons, assessment, classroom management, and motivation techniques. A minimum of 20 hours clinical experience in an Elementary setting is required, with the expectation that during those hours the student assists the teacher and has two opportunities to deliver some aspect of a lesson to a class.
