ARTP 2131 - Painting I


Beginning painting studio, exploration of theory and practice, with a focus on traditional and contemporary methods and mediums in painting, ranging from oil paint to introduction of water-based, digital, and mixed-media approaches. Students are introduced to the work of culturally diverse painters and encouraged to develop unique expressive content of their own. Six contact hours.
