ITSC 3146 - Introduction to Operating Systems and Networking Introduces the fundamentals of operating systems together with the basics of networking and communications. Topics include: processes, thread, scheduling, cache, memory management, file systems, interprocess communication, network architecture and protocols, HTTP, MAC, IP, TCP/UPD, and Internet routing.
Credit Hours: (3) Restriction(s): College of Computing and Informatics major or minor Prerequisite(s): ITSC 2214 with grade of C or above and ITSC 2181 with grade of C or above
