ECON 3115 - Money and Banking Basic economic theory is used to understand how financial markets, the monetary system, banks, and financial institutions work. There is a specific focus on the basic economic purpose of these institutions, how they interact with households and firms, and how economic policy interacts with these institutions.
Credit Hours: (3) Prerequisite(s): ECON 2101 and ECON 2102 ; MATH 1120 or MATH 1241 ; and STAT 1220 or equivalent; all with grades of C or above.
