ARCH 1201 - Modes of Communication Introduces undergraduate architecture students to the value and importance of verbal and media-related communication in the discipline. The primary theme of the course is the integral relationship between three types of language especially important to a career in architecture: description, analysis, and criticism. The course asks students to consider similarities and differences between written and oral communication, and how visual media, especially video, augment how architects may communicate their ideas and proposals.
