ITSC 1213 - Introduction to Computer Science II

Builds on introductory programming by emphasizing modular program design and the organization and processing of data. Students learn to structure programs into reusable components and work with linear data structures such as lists, arrays, stacks, queues, and dictionaries to store and manipulate information. The course introduces strategies for working with structured data, designing algorithms for searching and sorting, and reasoning about data organization. Through applied examples, students develop programs that transform, analyze, and interpret data while practicing systematic debugging, testing, and documentation.
