EXER 4291 - Principles of Coaching for Exercise and Sport Explores the history of coaching, coaching models, and professional skill development in strength & conditioning and health/fitness settings. Students will investigate psychological techniques to enhance motor learning, performance, and adherence while developing leadership, communication, and motivation strategies. Through evidence-based practice and ethical application, students learn to create supportive environments that drive performance and behavior change across diverse populations.
Credit Hours: (3) Restriction(s): Must be in the Health & Fitness or Strength & Conditioning Concentrations Prerequisite(s): EXER 3660
