Department of Human-Centered Computing and Education


The Department of Human-Centered Computing and Education sits at the vital intersection of people and technology. Its mission is to design, implement, and evaluate computing systems that support human needs and enhance learning experiences. By prioritizing usability, accessibility, and the social impact of technology, the department ensures that digital tools are intuitive and empowering, fostering an environment where technology serves as a bridge to better communication and education.
