The Sustainability Minor is designed to expose students to perspectives, approaches and the varying facets of sustainability through a well-rounded 18 credit hour program. Drawing from the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, and the Global Council for Science and the Environment, students can explore the social and environmental relationships of a single issue (e.g., food access and distribution), or multiple issues at the heart of sustainable practices. Housed in the Earth, Environmental, and Geographical Sciences Department in the College of Humanities & Earth and Social Sciences, the Minor in Sustainability is available to all students across the University.
