ECEI 2113 - Introduction to Early Childhood Development and Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) Focuses on the study of development beginning prenatal through 8 years of age and developmentally appropriate practices for young children. The course also discusses potential influences of biological, genetic, environmental, and cultural factors on development.
Credit Hours: (3) Restriction(s): Must be enrolled in one of the following Fields of Study (Pre-Major, Major, Minor, or Concentration): Early Childhood Education and Intervention. Students must complete this course with C or better to proceed in their program. Corequisite(s): ECEI 2111 , ECEI 2114
