ECEI 2114 - Understanding Families: Theoretical Perspectives, Foundations, and Practice This introductory course examines theoretical perspectives about families, including parenting children from prenatal through adulthood development. An emphasis is placed on family dynamic structures and strategies for developing collaborative partnerships with families.
Credit Hours: (3) Restriction(s): Must be enrolled in one of the following Fields of Study (Pre-Major, Major, Minor, or Concentration): Early Childhood Education and Intervention, The Collaborative Educators in Inclusive Schools or Inclusion, Disability, and Exceptionalities in American Society Minors. Students must complete this course with C or better to proceed in their program. Corequisite(s): ECEI 2111 ; ECEI 2113
