ECEI 3112 - Supporting Young Learners - Birth through Kindergarten: Introductory Methods Focuses on children’s developmental and individual needs, curriculum decisions, and the design of early learning environments. This course explores topics such as curricula models and frameworks, professional roles, application of developmental domains and academic disciplines, curricula implementation, and provides an introduction to assessment and progress monitoring. A corresponding clinical will be required.
Credit Hours: (3) Restriction(s): ECEI major with GPA of at least 2.5 overall and 2.75 in the major Prerequisite(s): ECEI 2111 ; ECEI 2113 ; and ECEI 2114 Corequisite(s): CHFD 2412 , ECEI 3210 , ECEI 4111
